UK Visa Fees significantly increased by Home Office

According to the Home Office, "The UK is increasing visa fees for tourists, visitors, or students traveling to the UK from 4th October. According to the British Home Office, the British government has announced a £15 increase in the visa fee for visits of less than 6 months and a £127 increase in student visa fees.
As a result, the visa fee for visits of less than 6 months in the UK will be £115, and the student visa fee will be £490 British pounds. Further reading."
The Home Office also states, "Most work and visit visa fees will increase by 15%, while preferred, student, and sponsor visa fees will increase by 20%.
The Home Office further mentions that the changes to the UK's visit and student visa fees will be implemented after parliamentary approval, and it is expected to take effect from 4th October
