Former Sri Lankan captain Arjuna Ranatunga has strongly criticized the ICC, saying that in the Asia Cup, a team was favored that will have detrimental effects.
In a statement, he said that there has been a sudden change in the tournament's rules, which is wrong. By rescheduling the match in favor of the Indian team, there was an unfair advantage.
Arjuna Ranatunga said that when all this was happening, where was the Asian Cricket Council and ICC? One board is powerful, one person is powerful; this is not how it should work.
