EconomyPakistan- Public auction of luxury vehicles underway in PM House

ISLAMABAD – The Public auction of luxury vehicles of Prime Minister’s House is being held on Monday (today).

The bidders will have to submit 10 per cent amount of the total value of a vehicle, they are bidding for.

The vehicles displayed for auction include eight BMW, 28 Mercedes, 40 Toyota cars, two land cruisers, five Mitsubishi, and two jeeps. The auction is being arranged in the backdrop of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s austerity drive and living a simple life style.

First of all, the Corolla Altis 2010 model sold out worth 0.1 million and Mehran 2005 model was sold in 2 lakh ninety five thousand rupees.

According to the promise made by Prime Minister Imran Khan, the auction of 102 luxury vehicles will be held tomorrow in PM’s House. 27 luxury cars from 102 are bullet proof.

On Tuesday, Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for Political Affairs Naeemul Haq said the government will auction four surplus helicopters of the Cabinet Division.
