Imran Khan to face Court Martial in Military Court

In the case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi, indictment charges could not be filed.
In Rawalpindi's Adiala Jail, Special Security Act Court Judge Abu-al-Hasanat Zulqarnain conducted a hearing for the case against PTI Chairman and Vice Chairman.Due to objections by the defense lawyers, the case has been adjourned for further hearing until next week.
After the hearing, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) prosecutor Shah Khawar stated that the hearing for the Cipher case has been adjourned until October 23, and indictment charges will be framed against the accused in the upcoming hearing.
On the other hand, Advocate Saif-ul-Maroof Safi mentioned that we were not given the charge sheet during the previous hearing, and due to the lack of a charge sheet, no action was taken against the accused. Today, the charge sheet has been provided, and indictment charges will be made in the next hearing.
Saif-ul-Maroof Safi stated that PTI Chairman and Shah Mahmood have also been brought to court today, and the judge has mentioned that the next hearing will take place in a larger room. Statements from 164 of the 22 people who held a press conference on May 9 have been obtained.
They expressed concern that PTI Chairman's case will be shifted to a military court based on these statements.
