Pakistan to assist Iran in finding 12 abducted Iranian border guards: FO

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan noted with concern the reports of abduction of 12 Iranian border guards from Iran and said no effort would be spared to assist the Iranian brothers in finding the Iranian guards.
“Both the militaries, under a joint mechanism established since last year, are working to ascertain the whereabouts of Iranian guards while Director General Military Operations (DG MOs) from the two sides are coordinating actions in this regard,” the foreign office spokesperson said in a statement issued here.
