AJK PM rejects opposition's criticism over his campaign for PML-N candidate

MIRPUR (AJK): Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan rejected the opposition's criticism over his campaigning for the PML-N candidate Sardar Amir Altaf in the by-election to a vacant seat of AJK Legislative Assembly.

Addressing public meetings in different areas of union council Phagwari, he said he adhered to the code of conduct of AJK Election Commission as he was campaigning for his party candidate as president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) AJK.

“We do not need to use official resources as the two-year performance of the PML-N government is enough for the people to vote for the party,” he added.
He asked the people of Poonch to vote for Sardar Amir Altaf.

He claimed that the educated youths for the first time were getting jobs on merit through the introduction of NTS and restructuring of PSC in the AJK.
AJK Senior Minister Chaudhry Tariq Farooq, Health Minister Dr Najeeb Naqi and LA Deputy Speaker Sardar Farooq Tahir also addressed the meetings.

Meanwhile, Farooq Haider called on former AJK president and prime minister Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan and enquired after his health.
