KP Govt spent Rs 1 Bln for free treatment of poor patients

Fifty three thousand patients have been treated under Sehat Insaf Card scheme.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has spent more than one billion rupees for free treatment of poor patients under Sehat Insaf Card scheme.
According to sources of the Health Department, fifty-three thousand patients have been treated under the scheme across the province.
Currently, the scheme is benefitting fifty one percent population of the province which will be enhanced to sixty nine percent by the end of this year.
Under the scheme, each family can get free treatment up to five hundred thousand rupees annually.
