PTI Chairman Imran Khan finally gets some relief

On Friday, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the former Prime Minister and PTI chairman were visited by family members at Adiala Jail.
Both Imran Khan and Qureshi are currently incarcerated in Adiala Jail due to their involvement in a cipher case. The FIA presented a charge sheet on September 30, accusing them as the main offenders under the Official Secrets Act in connection with the missing diplomatic document.
Family members, including Imran's wife Bushra Bibi and Qureshi's wife Mahreen, visited the jail to meet the respective leaders. Chairman PTI Imran Khan sister were also permitted to meet him.
The cipher case is related to a diplomatic document that allegedly went missing from Imran’s possession.
According to the PTI, the document contained a threat from the United States to remove the party chairman from his position.
Imran was transferred to Attock jail on August 5, 2023, after being sentenced to three years in prison in the Toshakhana graft case.
It was later revealed that he had been on judicial remand in the cipher case.
