International Airline launches direct flight to Pakistan

Malaysia's Batik Air has launched direct flight operations to Karachi, signaling an era of improved connectivity between Pakistan and Malaysia. The inaugural flight, arriving from Kuala Lumpur on Saturday at 7:30 PM, will receive a ceremonial water salute, symbolizing the warm welcome extended to the airline and its passengers.

For this significant event, the Malaysian Consul General and civil aviation officials will be present at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport to personally greet the passengers on Batik Air’s first flight. This gesture underscores the route's importance in fostering bilateral ties and facilitating travel between the two nations.

Batik Air, a private airline expanding its regional presence, plans to operate three weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Karachi, using Airbus 320 aircraft to meet passenger demand. The commencement of these flights is expected to bring various benefits, including enhanced travel convenience, tourism promotion, and increased foreign exchange earnings for Pakistan.

The introduction of Batik Air in Karachi marks a new phase in the city’s aviation landscape, creating opportunities for business, leisure, and cultural exchange between Pakistan and Malaysia.

With its commitment to exceptional service and competitive fares, Batik Air aims to become a preferred choice for travelers seeking a seamless and enjoyable travel experience. – INP
