Important development on Pakistan Test team squad for Australia tour

Next week, the Pakistan Test cricket squad and team management for the upcoming tour of Australia will be unveiled. As per sources, Mohammad Hafeez, the team Director, will assume the roles of head coach and batting coach in preparation for the tour.
Consultations involving Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Hafeez, and Captain Shan Masood were conducted for the selection of the national Test team, and the finalized squad will be announced next week.
Notably, the team camp is slated to take place in Lahore instead of Rawalpindi, as indicated by sources.
The Pakistan national cricket team is scheduled to embark on a tour of Australia in December 2023 and January 2024, featuring three Test matches.
This series will mark the competition for the Benaud–Qadir Trophy and will contribute to the 2023–2025 ICC World Test Championship.
