LAHORE – Punjab Chief Minister's Special Assistant on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that it requires grace to accept defeat.
While commenting on Gilgit-Baltistan elections on Tuesday, the special assistant said the opposition is unwilling to accept the results of GB polls while people voted in favor of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
"PML-N Vice-president Maryam Nawaz and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have been rejected and should understand that transparent elections are not only those in which they secure victory," Firdous maintained.
She further remarked that the PML-N and PPP should now show courage and give sanctity to vote.
