Government decides to establish Anti-Harassment Cells for women across government departments
ISLAMABAD - Balochistan government has finalized a plan to establish Anti-Harassment Cells to strictly tackle harassment issues in the province.
Talking to APP today, an official of Balochistan government said these cells will be established at Chief Minister Secretariat and Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner offices.
He said the government is especially working to ensure safe environment to working women in the province.
The official said said the cells would cater to women’s complaints about harassment.
He said the Cells will have helpline numbers, which will be advertised soon, so that the people could register their complaints.
He further said the Cells would also include an investigative arm besides collection of complaints.
