Palestinian Prime Minister’s message for the World community

Gaza: Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh has urged countries to offer more concrete action, rather than words, against Israeli brutalities in Gaza.

While speaking from the city of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank, he said that it’s not enough at all to have declarations and the United Nations (UN) must issue a resolution terming all Israeli actions as illegal and illegitimate.

The PM further urged allies to summon ambassadors of Israel and suspend trade relations with the country “until Israel respects human rights”.

“The license of killing has been renewed for Israel and this must be stopped immediately,” he said.

Israel on Monday continued its bombardment on Gaza Strip as death toll nears 200. The Israeli military launched new raids on the Gaza Strip few hours following the announcement made by Israel’s caretaker Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu who said that an end to hostilities ‘was not imminent’.

On Sunday, the Israel’s bombardment entered its eighth killing least 42 Palestinians and injuring several others. Two residential buildings were also destroyed as the result of heavy bombardment.
