LAHORE: (APP) Pakistani spinner Yasir Shah out of Squad
Pakistan Cricket Board announced that leg spinner Yasir Shah has been ruled out of action for 4-5 weeks owing to a knee injury.
Providing latest information on the injury of the spinner, the PCB said "Yasir is suffering from Tear in the Lateral Meniscus along with small osteochondral defect. He needs Conservative Management which includes physical therapy and extensive rehabilitation. In our opinion he will recover in 4-5 weeks' time".
Prior to join the national training camp on Sunday at Kakul, the spinner informed the PCB authorities of pain in his left knee on which he was asked not to join the camp.
Yasir is expected to be fit for the test series in England starting July 14 but he may miss pre series conditioning camp in Hampshire .
