ISLAMABAD, May 17 (APP): Middle East still the preferred choice of Pakistanis for employment purposes
A total of 727,201 Pakistani workers proceeded to the Middle East countries during the year 2015-16 so far (July-March) for employment purposes.
An official of Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development told APP that the demand received from the Middle East countries for this year was of 650,815.
While 814,703 Pakistani workers proceeded to Middle East countries during the year 2014-15 against the demand of 547,006, the official added.
