PDM Chief Fazal ur Rehman complains against PPP Chairman Asif Zardari to Nawaz Sharif

President of Jamiat Ulema e Islam (F) and chief of anti-government alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) Maulana Fazlur Rahman on Wednesday held a telephonic conversation with former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League (N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif.
According to the details, during the talk, PDM chief discussed the strategies to oust Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government. He also discussed the conversation held between Maryam Nawaz and Asif Zardi with Nawaz Sharif.
PDM Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that the he his disheartened by the undemocratic behavior of Asif Ali Zardari.
It should be noted that on Tuesday, the Pakistan Democratic Movement Chief announced to postpone the long march against the government.
After the PDM meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman while addressing a press conference said that if the principles of democracy were followed, the decision of the majority would have been in favor of resignation. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that 9 out of 10 parties of the PDM have agreed on resignations, however only the PPP has expressed reservations in this regard. “The PPP is a democratic party and hopefully, it will abide by democratic principles,” said Maulana.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that they are not here to make big speeches but for the people of Pakistan.
To make the right decision for the people of Pakistan is more important than mentioning the sacrifices of our elders here, Fazl said. “If I recount the sacrifices of my forefathers for the Muslim Ummah, all listeners will weep,” he added.
