8 militants killed in Khyber Agency by security forces

PESHAWAR: 8 terrorists were killed by security forces in Khyber Agency and Chilas in search operation here at Thursday while 2 security personnel were martyred by the firing of terrorists.
According to ISPR, a search operation was conducted by security forces here in Gayal, village of Chilas on the tip-off intelligence and killed 3 militants in operation while 2 security personnel embraced martyrdom during the operation.
ISPR added that the dead terrorists were wanted in several hinious crimes including attacks on transport on Sahrahe-e-Karakorum, tourists and forces. Search operation has been started in the area and the area has been cordoned off.
In another incident, terrorists opened indiscriminate firing on forces check-post in Darra Darmodrab, Khyber agency. Security personnel, deployed at check-post made a quick response against the firing and foiled the militants attack.
5 militants were killed by security forces in exchange of firing while their dead bodies have been taken by the security forces and are in their custody, Which will be handed over to political administration.
