CJP takes suo motu notice over non issuance of CNICs to transgenders

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar has taken suo motu notice over non issuance of Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) to the transgenders.
The chief justice will hear the case tomorrow in the Lahore registry. Notices have been issued to Chief Secretary Punjab and other relevant officials.
