Ministry of Foreign Affairs ban mobile phones after sensitive documents leaked

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan has banned the employees from keeping the Mobile Phones with them after sensitive government letters were leaked to the media.

A circular was issued to the employees of the Foreign Office, barring them from bringing smartphones and cellphones that contain cameras to the workplace.

This step has been taken in a bid to curb leakage of important documents after a letter sent to the government of UAE by the Foreign Office surfaced and went viral on social media.

The notification pointed out clearly that any persons found to be carrying cellphones with 3G and 4G connection at the reception would not be allowed to enter the building.
