Another Muslim actor in India faces strong threats from BJP Hindu leaders

Mumbai: Security has been beefed up outside Saif Ali Khan's home in the suburbs of Mumbai after a BJP leader filed a complaint against the actor.
Saif Ali Khan and creator Ali Abbas Zafar's are among the names nominated in the complaint by BJP MLA Ram Kadam against the creators, actors and director of web series 'Tandev'.
Kadam has demanded strict action for "insulting Hindu Gods and Goddesses" in the show. Meanwhile, BJP MP Manoj Kotak has written to the Ministry for Information and Broadcasting, requesting a ban on the series.
BJP trolls also took to Twitter to express outrage as 'Ban Tandev Now' started trending on the social media app.
Bollywood celebrities including Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi have accused Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being a fascist who has attacked Muslims and other minorities in India.
Paparazzi snapped a photo of a police van outside Saif Ali Khan's house on Sunday.
