Doctors’ negligence claims lives of woman, her unborn child

RAWALPINDI: A woman and her unborn child passed away owing to the alleged negligence of doctors at Benazir Bhutto Hospital.
The exasperated members of the victim’s family mounted protest on Murree Road. Talking to the aggrieved family said the death was caused after a wrong injection was administered.
The family called off their protest demonstration after the hospital administration assured them of action against those responsible.
According to preliminary report, the cesarian was in progress when the doctors administered an injection to the woman after which her condition deteriorated.
