China has rejected Germany's call to join a cold war-era arms control treaty, that US accuses Russia of breaching.
Responding to the call made by the German Chancellor Angela Merkel during the Munich Conference, China’s top diplomat Yang Jiechi, said that Chinese missiles are purely defensive and do not pose a threat to anybody.
He rejected the call, saying, it would place unfair limits on the Chinese military.
