Karachi Kings was declared winner through D/L method.
Islamabad United set a target of 95 runs to Karachi Kings after the match was reduced to 13 overs a side due to rain on Friday at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium.
Chasing the target, Kings were at 75 -4 at the end of 9.4 overs thanks mainly to opener Bahar Azam.
Dwayne Smith and Shane Watson of United, earlier, scored 29 and 26 respectively but wickets at the later stage of the innings hampered Kings' progress.
Imad Wasim and Usama Mir picked two each while Usman Khan picked one wicket.
Karachi kings seems out of the tournament as they have already lost all three matches and they are standing with lowest points “0” lying on 5th position in the points table having negative NET RR of “-0.459”.
