8 Taliban been killed in Zabul and Faryab provinces

KABUL: In Afghanistan, eight Taliban have been killed in two separate incidents in Zabul and Faryab provinces.
In a statement, Afghan army said that three Taliban were killed when government forces in an operation targetted their outfit in Qaisar district of northern Faryab province today.
Five taliban were also injured during the attack.
Similarly, five Taliban have been killed in a premature blast in restive southern province of Zabul.
According to provincial Police chief of Zabul the killed Taliban were trying to plant an improvised explosive device along a road on outskirts of Qalat city which detonated.
