Restructuring of Anti-Corruption Establishment ACE Punjab

LAHORE: (APP) Additional Chief Secretary Shamail Ahmad Khawaja emphasized the need to create an indigenous cadre of the Anti-Corruption Establishment through initial recruitment and candidates having the academic background of corporate law must be given preference.
He was presiding over a briefing session regarding the proposed restructuring plan of Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) Punjab was held here in Civil Secretariat on Wednesday.
Director General Anti-Corruption Establishment Brig (Retd) Muzaffar Ali Ranjha presented the detailed proposals regarding fulfillment of the vacant posts in the ACE Headquarters Lahore as well as in the divisional offices of ACE Punjab according to the new proposed organo-gram.
Shamail Khawaja said that the investigation officers of ACE Punjab would be able to reach the trail of financial crimes.
The re-organization of ACE Punjab, after its final approval from the Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, will be materialized through fresh recruitments by the Punjab Public Service Commission which would enhance the public confidence on the government servants delivery and performance in a big way, the ACS hoped.
It was informed to the briefing session that ten special courts to hear the cases of anti-corruption were working in the Punjab.
The purpose built offices of the ACE Regional Office Lahore and divisional offices of ACE Punjab have been planned and the construction of these offices is being executed by the Punjab government.
The construction work in Faisalabad, Sargodha and Multan has been started while PC-I for Sahiwal Office has also been prepared as land for DG Khan and Gujranwala offices has been located.
