No telephone call from Dar to Indian counterpart for attending SAARC conference

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The Finance Ministry Wednesday clarified that no telephone call was made by the Finance Minister to his Indian counterpart to attend SAARC Finance Ministers' conference scheduled here on August 25 and 26.
In a statement issued here, Official Spokesman of the Finance Division rejected the news reported by a certain section of the media establishing that Ishaq Dar made a telephone call to his Indian counterpart to attend the conference.
The spokesman said that invitations were given by the SAARC secretariat adding that all the guests who participate the event will receive a warm welcome from Pakistan as it is the host country.
