Special Security given on orders of PM Shahbaz Sharif to journalist Hamid Mir

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has given direction to the Inspector General (IG) Police Islamabad to ensure the security of senior journalists and their homes from expected protests of PTI.
Under the direction of the PM, Marriyam Aurangzeb made a contact with IG Islamabad Ahsan Younis and said that the violators of “Chadar aur Chardewari” should be dealt with severely.
She also said that the constitution has guaranteed the fundamental rights and freedom of expression of the citizens so strict action should be taken against those who take the law into their hands.
The PML-N leader also expressed full solidarity with the journalist community and strongly condemn the fascist dictatorial mindset and activities of the rival party.
Keeping in view of the expected protest of PTI workers, the security has also been tightened in front of the house of senior journalist Hamid Mir in Islamabad on Sunday night.
