Punjab police refuses to register FIR on application of Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi approached the Qila Gujjar Singh police to register a case over the fight in the provincial assembly session for the election of Leader of the House.
The station house officer (SHO) of Qila Gujar Singh asked Chaudhry Parvez link to present a medical exam report link the request for registering a case. He alleged that PML-N lawmakers subjected him to torture link. Speaker Parvez link Elahi sustained ‘serious injuries and ‘broke his arm’
At the request of Parvez link Elahi, the Qila Gujar Singh police link head sought a medical report link, saying that due process will be followed after getting the medico-legal report link.
Reportedly, Deputy Speaker Dost Muhammad Mazari withdrew his earlier order regarding the convening of the provincial assembly session on Monday to hold voting on the no-confidence motion against the speaker.
He was too thrashed, punched, and roughed up in yesterday’s session by ‘PTI party members’ on conducting elections for the new chief minister.
