IGP Sindh Police Syed Kalim Imam tenders apology on behalf of police department

KARACHI: Inspector General Police (IGP) Sindh, Dr. Syed Kaleem Imam on the behalf of the police department apologized to the family of a minor boy, Ahsan.
On April 16, a 19-month-old boy, Ahsan was killed during alleged shootout between suspects and police at Karachi’s University Road.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday the IGP determined not to let such incidents repeated in future. He said that he has instructed police officials to conduct a special training session to police personnel at province level.
The police chief said that Sindh police express deep sorrow over the child’s death.
Talking about sacrifices of police, he said more than 2,500 personnel have already martyred fighting crime.
