Economic terrorism to be included in Anti Terrorism Act

*ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Law, Farogh Naseem, has said an Anti Terrorism Act will soon have a section of Economic Terrorism [to incorporate financial corruption in the law].*
Speaking in the ARY News programme ‘The Reporters’, Naseem said Prime Minister Imran Khan had embarked on a mission to rid the country of corruption.
He explained that new amnesty scheme wasn’t meant to increase taxes. “An action will be taken after introduction of new amnesty scheme and there will be no chance for the corrupt.”
He highlighted that responsibilities of the media were going to be increased after new amnesty scheme was introduced.
Deliberations are underway whether who can benefit from the amnesty scheme, he added.
