Bureaucracy has vital role in country's progress: Chairman NAB

Chairman National Accountability Bureau Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that bureaucracy has a vital role in progress and prosperity of the country.
Addressing the high ranked officials at Punjab's Civil Secretariat in Lahore, he said the NAB is an autonomous organization with a mandate to take action against corrupt elements and recover looted money from them.
The chairman said, the NAB had recovered and deposited an amount of over three hundred rupees in the national exchequer.
