Pakistan Army may operate inside Afghanistan along with Afghan Forces to hunt down TTP Chief: Omar Zakhilwal

ISLAMABAD: The ice seems to be breaking between Pakistan and Afghanistan as Afghanistan Ambassador to Pakistan Omar Zakhilwal has hinted that Afghanistan may allow Pakistan Army to conduct joint operations with the Afghan Forces in hunting down the TTP Chief Mullah Fazlullah inside his den in Afghanistan.

Afghan Ambassador in Pakistan Omar Zakhilwal has hinted at a joint operation with Pakistan to eliminate Tehreek- e-Taliban Pakistan chief, Mullah Fazlullah, who is hiding there.

Speaking to a Pakistani TV channel, Afghan envoy rejected the allegations that India pulls strings of Afghan government, terming this impression to be the ‘insult’ to Afghan nation.

On relations with Pakistan, the envoy hoped year 2017 to be ice breaker as he said ‘the year 2017 will see the relations between the two countries turning warm from cold.’

He also replied to the point that was drawn to him about the use of afghan soil against Pakistan, the ambassador said that Afghan authorities had killed Qari Yaseen and other terrorists that were wanted by Islamabad.

But he also demanded Pakistan to take actions against those elements fueling terror inside Afghanistan.
