NEW DELHI – The Indian Ministry of External Affairs on Wednesday summonedPakistan High Commission official.
India lodged a strong protest at the death of an innocent civilian inunprovoked ceasefire violation (CFV) by Pakistan forces on 11 January 2019in Sunderbani Sector, DNA has reported.
The individual named Hemraj was shot by Pakistani forces from across theline of control (LoC) and later succumbed to wounds.
The ministry of external affairs in a release said, “Our strong concernswere also shared at continued unprovoked firing and ceasefire violationsacross the Line of Control and the International Boundary.”
It further added, “We also protested Pakistan’s continued support to crossborder terrorist infiltration into India, including supporting cover fireprovided by Pakistan forces.”
