In many countries, the month of Safar ended on Friday, September 15, while in several countries, including Pakistan, the possibility of the 1st of Rabi al-Awwal falling on September 17. According to details, in countries like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and others, the month of Safar concluded on Friday, September 15.
In these countries, the moon of Rabi al-Awwal was sighted on the 30th of Safar, after which the 1st of Rabi al-Awwal will be observed on the following day, which is Saturday.
On the other hand, in most Islamic and non-Muslim countries, including Pakistan, the month of Safar has not yet concluded. In most of these countries, there is a possibility of sighting the moon of Rabi al-Awwal on Sunday, September 16, which would mark the beginning of Rabi al-Awwal on Sunday, September 17.
In Pakistan, a meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee for sighting the moon of Rabi al-Awwal 1445 Hijri will be held on Saturday at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Kohsar Complex, Pak Secretariat Islamabad, under the chairmanship of Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, the central president of the Moon Sighting Committee of Pakistan
