Government increases margin of petroleum dealers in additional burden to public

The caretaker government has imposed an additional burden on the public by increasing the margin on petrol by 88 paise per liter. According to reports, the prices of petrol and diesel have reached their highest levels in the country's history.
In addition to increasing petrol prices, the government has also increased margins for oil marketing companies and dealers. The margin for oil marketing companies on petrol has been increased by 47 paise per liter, bringing their margin to 6 rupees 47 paise, while dealers have seen an increase of 41 paise per liter, making their margin 7 rupees 41 paise.
The increase in margins will take immediate effect for oil marketing companies and dealers
