CTD officer martyred by unknown gunmen

A Head Constable from the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Quetta met a tragic fate when unidentified assailants opened fire on him. The victim, identified as Saeed Ahmed, was on duty when this lethal attack took place on Jail Road in Quetta. In a separate but equally disturbing event, two police officers were martyred during an attack on a polio vaccination team operating in the suburban region of Quetta. Fortunately, the two brave women volunteers working with the vaccination team escaped unharmed. Former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, swiftly condemned the attack and expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of the police officers. He characterized the incident as a sinister plot aimed at undermining the health and well-being of children in the region. CM Bizenjo called upon relevant authorities to utilize all available resources in the pursuit of bringing the perpetrators of this attack to justice.
