Babar Azam is a selfish player who plays for his fifties and not for Pakistan victory, claims former top cricketer

Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir criticized Babar Azam severely for his playing style against traditional rivals. He told Pakistan's current aggressive batsmen that they should expect similar results when they focus on making fifties or personal runs.
During a heated exchange, Gambhir claimed that Babar Azam was extremely timid in this match. He mentioned that during a partnership, two batsmen couldn't have the same batting style, and one of them had to take chances.
They asserted that if you play just for fifties or personal runs, you'll get such results. Pakistan used to have strong batsmen, but now, they lack a single aggressive batter in the top order who can take on top-quality Indian bowling.
They argued that Babar Azam had scored too many runs for himself, and Pakistan's history is filled with players who preferred aggressive batting, whether it was Shahid Afridi, Imran Nazir, or Taufeeq Umar. They suggested that Green Shirts should have adopted an aggressive approach in the initial overs against India's top-quality bowling.
