Germany lauds PTI Govt to accord priorities to health, education & environment sectors

Germany has lauded the initiative of PTI led government to accord top most priority to important sectors of health, education and environment.
In a meeting with Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain in Islamabad, Ambassador of Germany Martin Kobler also appreciated the anti-corruption agenda of the government and the drive for institutional reforms. He assured full cooperation of the German government with Pakistan government.
He said Germany is striving for resumption of Lufthansa German airlines operations from Pakistan as there is an improvement of security situation in Pakistan.
The Minister, on the occasion, said his Ministry is focusing on promoting softer image of Pakistan. He said that films medium will be the best source for boosting the image of the country and exploring and projecting scenic landscape and beauty of Pakistan. He invited German filmmakers to come to Pakistan for shooting as Pakistan has eight out of the ten top mountain peaks and offers myriad of locations for shooting films.
The ambassador showed his keen interest in promoting cultural ties with Pakistan and said his country will look into all possible cooperation and collaboration in areas of films and entertainment sector.
