Cipher Case: PTI Chairman Imran Khan makes important plea

In Islamabad on Thursday, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) prolonged the stay on the former prime minister's jail trial in the cipher case until November 20.
Imran Khan, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, is presently in judicial remand at Adiala jail in Rawalpindi. At the hearing, Imran Khan's lawyer Salman Akram Raja requested and secured an extension in the stay order until Monday, November 20.
In a separate development, the ex-prime minister has approached the Supreme Court, seeking post-arrest bail in the missing cipher case. In his plea, the PTI chairman appeals to the apex court to annul the IHC order in the cipher case and release him.
