NAB to probe alleged corruption in CCTV cameras of Safe City Project Islamabad

Chairman National Accountability Bureau Javed Iqbal has directed the DG NAB Rawalpindi to scrutinize the complaint regarding malfunctioning of 600 CCTV cameras out of 1800 installed as part of Safe City Project Islamabad.
Taking notice of the matter, Chairman NAB sought details of all expenditures incurred on the installment of cameras, when the project started and why 600 of its cameras are malfunctioning or inactive.
