Pakistan Army to train Sindh Police

KARACHI: (APP) Some 4,000 police recruits from various districts in the province would receive training at Army's Centres.
A police statement here on Wednesday said that the training would be of three month's duration.
It said that the training is aimed at improving the standard of the police recruits and strengthen police's capacity in the drive against crimes.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Sindh, A.D. Khawaja, chaired a meeting for further improving the training standards of the police besides considering other matters.
The meeting was informed that the new recruit constables from the Sindh police would also get three months' training at various centers of the Pakistan Army.
