Players who win medals real heroes of country: DG Sports Punjab

Director General Sports Punjab Nadeem Sarwar has said the players who win medals in international sports competitions are the real heroes of the country.
He stated this during a meeting with Pakistan’s medal-winning Wushu players of 3rd International Pars Wushu Cup at National Hockey Stadium in Lahore today.
He said that Pakistan’s male and female Wushu players have made the entire nation proud by winning 11 medals in 3rd International Pars Wushu Cup in Iran's city of Zahedan.
Nadeem Sarwar said that Sports Board Punjab recently organised 2nd Quaid-i-Azam Wushu Cup quite successfully.
He said that players from all nine divisions of the province participated in the event which reflects the great interest of young generation in this sport.
