Former top Indian Judge strongly responds over revocation of invitations to Pakistani scholars to World Conference in India

ISLAMABAD - Former Judge, Supreme Court of India Justice Markandey Katju has strongly protested over revocation of invitations to Pakistani Urdu Scholars to the world Urdu Conference.

Former Judge, Supreme Court of India and former Chairman Press council of India Justice Markandey Katju has strongly protested over revocation of invitations to Pakistani Urdu Scholars to the world Urdu Conference.

The Conference is scheduled to be held from Monday to Wednesday in New Delhi.

In a tweet today, Justice Markandey Katju said this stupidity has crossed all the limits and is an insult to a great language Urdu, born in India.

He said Urdu is falsely branded as a foreign language and a language of Muslims by bigots.

He appealed to all invitees to refuse to attend the conference against this ridiculous act.
