UN demands immediate end to fighting in South Sudan

United Nations Security Council has demanded an immediate end to fighting in South Sudan.
The Security Council unanimously adopted a resolution and also threatened to consider an arms embargo and sanctions to prevent parties from violating the December cease-fire agreement.
The resolution extends the mandate of the UN peace-keeping force in South Sudan until March next year. APP/AFP
