Mohammad Hafeez remains top scorer of Pakistan with 64 in 42 balls

NEW DELHI: All-rounder Star ‘Professor’ Mohammad Hafeez remained top scorer of Pakistan with a score of 64 in 42 balls.

 

He made 64 score with a contribution of seven 4s and two 6s.

 

Team captain Shahid Afrid made 49 scores in 19 balls include four 4s and four 6s.

 

Earlier Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first.

 

Pakistan team set a target of 202 runs.

 

Bangladesh lost the match by 55 runs.

 

Muhammad Amir got 2 wickets at 28 runs and Shahid Afridi also got 2 for 27 runs.

 

This was the second match of the T20 World Cup in the Super 10 round.

 

Recently Bangladesh and Afghanistan qualified for the super 10 round.

 

Both groups comprise 5 teams each which will fight to qualify for semi finals.

 

Semi finals will be held in New Delhi and Mumbai on 30 and 31 March respectively while the final will be played at Eden Gardens Kolkata on April 3.

 

Pakistan will play its second match against arch-rival India on March 19.
