Defence Ministers of US, S Korea discuss cancellation of joint military drills

Washington: The Defence Ministers of the US and South Korea have discussed the cancellation of their joint military drills after the US president said they would be ending.
The US Defence Minister, James Mattis and South Korean Defence Minister Song Young-moo held an in-depth telephonic talk in an effort to facilitate the Korean Peninsula's denuclearization.
North Korea has long condemned the drills as an unacceptable act of aggression and provocation. (BBC)
