China to impose additional duties on US products

BEIJING: China has decided to impose additional duties of 25 per cent on 659 items of US products worth about 50 billion dollars.
The decision was made by the Chinese State Council in Beijing in response to the US announcement to impose additional duties on Chinese imports.
The items on which additional tariffs will be imposed include chemical products, medical equipment and energy products, will be announced later.
