PESHAWAR, June 16 (APP): Tribal leaders vow to stand shoulder to shoulder with Pak Army
The chieftain of Kokikhel tribe, Malik Abdul Ghaffar Kokikhel here Thursday expressed grave concern over recent incidents of firing by the Afghan forces at Torkham border and wowed to stand shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps against any external aggression.
In a statement, Malik Abdul Ghaffar said the tribal people would not hesitate to offer their lives for the dignity and defense of the motherland adding the people there had always rendered sacrifices in every testing time faced by the country.
He expressed deep sense of sorrow over the martyrdom of Major Ali Jawad due to unprovoked firing by the Afghan forces and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and courage to the bereaved family to bear the loss with patience.
He reiterated the firm resolve of Kokikhel tribe to go to every extent for the defense and dignity of motherland and said tribal people would stand like a rock in front of any nefarious objective against the country.
