Govt taking measures to encourage private sector in field of IT: IT Minister

Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui says the government is taking all out measures to encourage the private sector in the field of Information Technology.
He was talking to media persons at the Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences in Quetta on Monday.
He said that the execution of the project of laying down the Fiber Optic cable on the CPEC route has been initiated for the sake of provision of Internet facility.
To a question, the minister said that PTI will fully support the Chairmen Senate Mir Sadiq Sanjrani if any no confidence motion was tabled against him.
