CPEC City being made in KP with Chinese assistance: CM Khattak

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak says China Pakistan Economic Corridor will help in further improvement of the existing friendly relations between the two countries.
Talking to a delegation of National Development and Reforms Commission of China in Peshawar on Sunday, he said CPEC will usher a new era of prosperity and development in the region.
The Chief Minister said the region is becoming hub of economic activities due to this mega project.
He said a number of Memorandum of Understanding have been signed with Chinese companies including CPEC City, Circular Railway and Peshawar model town.
Earlier, presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, Chief Minister said the provincial government is expecting ninety-six billion rupees Chinese investment in the province.
Pervez Khattak said work on generation of 225 megawatt electricity from gas at Hattar Industrial Estate is in progress.
